These curved and polished bridges that arch up from the dial to give proceedings a rarely seen depth are charged with stabilizing two completely independent regulating organs, beating at different rates in order to provide an average reading, which, theoretically, reduces the likelihood of isochronous error.An Homage To GeniusDuring the design process, Voutilainen and Mojon paid tribute to some of the finest horologists to ever grace the earth. It is clear to see that the ghosts of Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823), Ferdinand Berthoud (1727-1807), and Antide Janvier (1751-1835) haunt this piece that takes their shared interest in dual regulators and dashes with it into the 21st century. And that triumvirate of legends has a living peer in Philippe Dufour, the creator of the Duality watch, which was the first to contain dual regulators and a differential.
