Think palm fronds and warm sunlight filtering through dense mangroves, as opposed to the staid Kermit or British Racing Green tones that weve seen dominating the press cycle this summer. The dial is complemented with a matte green ceramic bezel with contrasting Liquid Metal demarcations, and fitted with Blancpains black NATO strap that neatly matches the cases dark ceramic exterior.Aside from the dial color, the Mokarran is also unique for being the first 43mm Bathyscaphe reference rendered without a date aperture at its usual (and sometimes controversial) 4:30 placement. This was done with Blancpains Calibre 1318-a no-date variant of the beautifully finished Cal. 1315 deployed throughout the line, where we get the familiar embellishments: a silicon balance spring and three mainspring barrels granting an impressive five days of power reserve.
